Back in 2011 I took a chance and ordered a slip covered sofa, oversized chair and ottoman from Casco Bay thinking to myself, “…this is such a great price so if they last a few years it’ll be just fine”. Well they were built so beautifully that I have been singing their praises ever since. I just ordered a replacement slipcover for our sofa after 12 years and it is like getting a new sofa! I have ordered a total of 9 pieces from Casco Bay for our homes and each have been amazing.

Subject: I absolutely love my new sofa!

I absolutely love 💜 my new sofa, specially ordered just the way I desired! The 42” depth is long to sit without a pillow behind. I can’t imagine the 46” depth. I purchased the optional arm covers, and they fit snug and with good coverage.

Subject: Review for Casco Bay Furniture

I had initially worked with a Restoration Hardware designer to fill out space. She chose the Maxwell sofa in this massive size. I think without shipping and tax it was around $16k. That was more than I was comfortable spending, I knew the size wouldn’t be cheap but that felt insane for a couch. I searched for months, there are a couple companies that make a Maxwell look-a-like but after looking at their fabrics and looking at reviews of how their couches wore over time, I just wasn’t crazy about them. I messaged back and forth with Kristina for a while on customizing the size of our sectional, the leather that would work best for us, and initially I wanted bench seating- which they are happy to do but explained why it’s not ideal long term. I LOVED being able to call Kristina on any given day and she would talk me through design elements and just any questions I had prior to ordering. I love the aspect of supporting a small business that makes the furniture in the US, don’t get me wrong I love RH but your sectional and products come from China or India. Kristina and Casco Bay were able to tell me exactly where each product came from in the US. While this sectional took almost 7 months to get here, Kristina was very forthcoming about that prior to me placing my order. I appreciated that she didn’t say “4-6 weeks” and sort of string me along. We opted for extra stuffed back cushions as we do use and abuse our couches, we have a dog, we aren’t just having it for display. I believe we also opted for the double wrapped or whatever it’s called seat cushions. The length is a custom size, the color is Berkshire Tan, it has more of a matte finish and I like how it wears over time. Cost wise I believe this was $9500, hope that’s OK for me to list price, as a consumer I wanted to know how this would compare to RH so this sectional was about half of what RH’s would be. The size is 9 feet on the short end and 11 feet on the long size. Casco bay confirms with you numerous times to make sure it’s the right direction and size. I think RH suggested a 12 foot couch but I knew I could fit a table on the end to fill in the space without the added cost. Hope this helps someone! Thanks Casco bay!

Subject: We are thrilled with our new sofa!

I was a bit nervous about ordering a custom sofa online. However, Kristina was super helpful and put my mind at ease. The firm spring down cushions are actually very comfortable and give a good amount of support for my bad back. I was worried that they might be hard, but I found them comparable to our medium firm hybrid mattress (we offer regular and firm). We opted to go with 3 seat cushions so that we could swap them around. I tend to sit in the same spot and I was concerned about one spot showing more wear than the others. As for the color, we ended up going with Echo Fawn. Mont Blanc Sycamore was also on our short list. We received cuttings of both leathers and Kristina was patient and accommodating when we changed our minds.
